Q: What is the difference between Chlorella vulgaris and Chlorella pyrenoidosa?
A: Chlorella pyrenoidosa has a thicker cell wall, which increases its binding properties. Chlorella vulgaris has a thinner cell wall with less binding properties than Chlorella pyrenoidosa, but it is still an excellent binder with a highly absorbable nutrient profile.
